Getting started with your Movi Cocoon.
Let's position your Movi Cocoon on your dresser!
Newborns are extra tiny and need to be positioned higher on the Movi Cocoon.
The Movi Cocoon is designed to rest on your dresser without the use of an adhesive or attachment. We pass all safety certifications for infant changing pads, so the use of an attachment is not required. If you would like to change your baby on the floor or in another changing space, simply move the Movi.
For cleaning up messes, simply use a baby wipe to wipe down the pad, immediately after use. Never submerge your Movi into water. You can use a mild dish detergent with a wet sponge as well.
You’ll notice that the strap will arrive in the box unattached to the pad.
While you’re placing your baby on the pad, the strap should fall away from the dresser. The Velcro beans will keep the strap in place, even while it’s open. It's best to keep the strap attached to the pad as much as possible to preserve the longevity of the Velcro.
Newborns are especially tiny, and they need to be positioned higher on the Movi Cocoon. You may want to keep the strap open during changing, as newborns won’t wiggle or turn over on the pad. Always keep one hand on your baby while changing.
It may help to put a burp cloth or a towel under their head for additional comfort.
You’ll notice that the Movi Cocoon is designed with an incline. This becomes especially helpful for older babies, ages 3+ months and up and to help with “run-off” during accidents.
